Are you staying with a 'host family'? I will be staying with one I think, but I'm not sure if I should be bringing my laptop with me as I don't want to carry it around with me wherever I go. What do you think? Is it safe to leave the laptop in the room or?
I am staying with a host family and leave my laptop unlocked every day in the home. I don't think you have anything to worry about. The problem with having a laptop is you can't connect it to a connection at an internet cafe. Still, I like having it for studying the language and downloading pictures. When will you arrive? Good luck
Ahh ok, thanks. That was my only worry. I guess I'll try to find a way to connect my laptop (maybe internet cards if available?). Other than that, I use my laptop for a lot of things, like uploading my photos from my digicam, burning it on CD and sending it (from an internet cafe) to friends and family back home. :)
I'll be in Armenia in less than a month. Most probably June 15 (if there are any flights to Armenia on that day).
You'll have a hard time finding an Internet cafe fast enough to upload photos, but I would bring the laptop anyway. Look forward to meeting you on the 15th.
